ASI adds seal to homeland security line

FARMINGDALE, N.J., Aug. 6 (UPI) -- U.S. company Allied Security Innovations Inc. announced plans to add a tamper-evident seal technology in its offerings for the homeland security market.

ASI says its CGM-Applied Security Technologies Inc. subsidiary was selected by Florida-based Sealock to offer its Rotobloc Bolt Seal truck and container security system.

The Sealock Rotobloc Bolt Seal, designed to support the security of shipping containers from terrorists or other threats, will be offered by CGM-AST with anti-spin technology.

"We are pleased that Sealock has selected CGM-AST to carry the Rotobloc. … The Sealock relationship helps us to provide our growing client base with the most technologically advanced and innovative tamper-evident seal products for their needs," Anthony Shupin, ASI chief executive officer and president of CGM-AST, said in a statement.
