QinetiQ to support SPAWAR C4ISR

FAIRFAX, Va., Oct. 8 (UPI) -- QinetiQ North America has been awarded an eight-year contract to support the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center San Diego.

Under the $206 million task order, QinetiQ North America will provide SPAWAR's Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance programs with lifecycle support services.

As part of the deal, QinetiQ North America will provide logistics and maintenance among other operational support services for SPAWAR's ongoing C4ISR acquisitions and lifecycle activities.

"We are honored to provide our C4ISR services and expertise to SPAWAR Systems Center San Diego, this time as a prime contractor," Mark Tierney, QinetiQ North America systems engineering and integration division vice president, said in a statement.
