Illinois-based SupplyCore says it plans to increase inventory levels of Corning fiber-optic network infrastructure technologies at its warehouses in Kuwait City and Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Company officials cite the ongoing expansion of CENTCOM operations in the Middle East and the increased demand for data and voice infrastructure products as the reasons for the inventory increases.

SupplyCore warehouses are expected to expand their offerings of cable and connectivity products, including the Corning Plug and Play pre-terminated trunk cables and Pretium connector housings, among other connectivity infrastructure supplies.

"Expanding our product offering in the Middle East is in response to the increased voice/data network requirements, data center construction, and demand for Corning products and solutions by our Department of Defense customers," David Hahn, SupplyCore vice president of corporate development, said in a statement.
