Agility DGS says its subsidiary Taos Industries received the contract from the Marine Corps Logistics Command to store and maintain military equipment at 20 bases in the United States and around the world.

Under the U.S. Marine Corps Consolidated Storage Program contract, worth up to $140 million, Taos will store field and infantry combat gear and chemical and biological defense equipment, among other military gear.

"We understand the importance of making sure that Marines' equipment arrives when and where it is needed -- in the best possible condition," Dan Mongeon, Agility DGS president and chief executive officer, said in a statement.

"Our technical expertise in military procurement and maintenance, combined with our advanced logistics infrastructure and global network, ensure that the Marines will have ready access to equipment they need for their mission."
