STOCKHOLM, Sweden, Aug. 1 (UPI) -- Saab has given supplementary reports to Norwegian defense officials in addition to the ongoing process for the potential delivery of 48 Gripen fighter aircraft.

Saab's release of the supplementary reports is part of the Swedish Defense Materiel Administration proposal for industrial collaborations with Norway. The document is in addition to a pending delivery of Saab Gripen aircraft to the Norwegian Ministry of Defense.

Saab says it has been in regular discussions with Norwegian officials and other companies to propose collaborations.

"Together, we have defined well over 150 different collaboration projects," Ake Svensson, Saab president and chief executive officer, said in a statement.

"As part of this work, we have been able to identify partners across all of Norway's provinces. I can state that Saab and the Norwegian business community have identified collaboration projects to such an extent that we can now increase our commitment."
