New York-based ADSI received the contract from the Army Tank-Automotive and Armaments Command. The one-year contract extension adds to ADSI's deal for crew protection kit installations on Army bulldozers and other construction vehicles.

With the extension, ADSI will now supply spare parts and support for Army construction equipment.

"Our long-standing relationship with TACOM is further enhanced by the issuance of this sole source requirements contract," Fergal Foley, ADSI chief operations officer, said in a statement.

"As one of TACOM's Top 10 small business partners, ADSI will continue to support TACOM's efforts by delivering the highest quality product in an expeditious manner."

Officials say the new contract is worth approximately $2 million.
