Under a two-year, $4.5 million network-centric solutions contract, information-technology services provider NCI will support the Strategic Command's Global Command and Control System Program Management Office at Offutt Air Force Base in Nebraska.

"We look forward to continuing our long-standing relationship with USSTRATCOM as well as continuing our record of outstanding service in providing robust information systems support for this key command and control system," Terry Glasgow, NCI president and chief operating officer, said in a statement.

Officials say the contract is an expansion on work at the U.S. Strategic Command at Offutt AFB that NCI has been performing for more than 12 years.

Tasks the follow-on contract include "technical oversight, system engineering and analysis, testing, common operational picture track management, Web page support, GCCS application training, system administration, operations, maintenance and integration services directly supporting command and control planning and analysis for USSTRATCOM decision makers," the release said.
