Antara, the Indonesian national news agency, quoted National Police spokesman Senior Cmdr. Bambang Kuncoko as saying biological terrorism experts from Interpol, the international police organization, took part in the two-day meeting in Jakarta.
ASEAN is an economic and political group of Asian states originally established by five countries in 1967. Its current membership: Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar (formerly Burma), Laos, Cambodia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam and Brunei Darussalam.
