Sony unveils VAIO Pro 13: World's lightest ultrabook

Sony's new Ultrabook is sleek but could use a few USB ports, according to reviews.

Sony announced their all new VAIO Pro 13, and they are calling it the world's lightest touchscreen Ultrabook.

The Pro 13 has a 13.3 inch screen and includes a 4th gen Intel® Core™ i7 processor, Windows 8 and an HD TRILUMINOS IPS touchscreen. The devices weighs in at 2.34 pounds.

According to PC World, Sony's Ultrabook "trades some performance for looks; but this Ultrabook is so beautiful, you won’t care." The site rates the Ultrabook's pros to be its design, weight and roomy SSD. As for the cons, PC World noted the single band 802.11n Wi-Fi adapter, the fact that it only has two USB ports and the flat keys.

The VAIO Pro 13 is out now and it starts at $1149.99.
