Next iPad event rumored to be happening Oct. 16

Apple is reportedly having its next big event October 16.

CUPERTINO, Calif., Oct. 3 (UPI) -- Apple is rumored to be holding its next event in just a few weeks, October 16.

According to reports, the event will be held on Apple's campus in Cupertino,Calif.

That's when the company will supposedly show off its next generation iPad -- that reports say will be 12.9 inches and launching in 2015.

In addition to showing off the new iPad, Apple will also reportedly unveil their new operating system -- OS X Yosemite -- and new iMacs.
