BERN, Switzerland, June 2 (UPI) -- U.S. Ambassador Suzi LeVine, who became the nation's representative to Switzerland and Liechtenstein on Monday, took the oath of office on an electronic copy of the Constitution.
LeVine, who sworn in by Vice President Joe Biden, placed her palm on an e-reader. The digital version of the Constitution was open to the 19th Amendment, which gave women the right to vote.
Officials were unspecific about the e-reader brand, though the Washington Post described it
as a Kindle Touch.
