BEIJING, Aug. 26 (UPI) -- The Chinese Ministry of Finance published its rules on funding for wind power research.

The Provisional Administration Rules on Funds for Industrialization of Wind Power Generating Equipment are aimed at creating a level playing field for funding opportunities for wind power research and development, Asia Pulse reported.

The ministry's rules are also aimed at creating a more powerful wind industry in the country.

According to the rules, eligible businesses may receive subsidies for producing wind turbine generators.

Complete machine manufacturing enterprises and key parts makers will share the subsidies in order to research and develop more new products.
