The creators of "Tikker: The Happiness Watch" want to help users make the most of their time by reminding them how much longer they have left to live.

Tikker is a watch that counts down the years, months, days, hours and seconds remaining until its user's death "to remind you to make most of your life, and most importantly, to be happy."

The Kickstarter watch calculates users' remaining time by having them answer a questionnaire and then subtracting their current age from the results. The watch then counts down to the rest of their lives while also providing the local time.

"It's not really about how much time you have, it's what you do with it," reads a passage on the product's website. "A week spent in love and happiness can be worth more than years spent in agony. Wearing a Tikker is a statement to the world that your biggest priority in life, is living."

A pledge for a black Tikker, which itself is very plain looking, costs $39 or more. Contributors donating "$1,000 or more" receive "1 Tikker death watch in [their] Pantone color of choice."

So far, the Tikker campaign has received $34,281 from 784 backers and it still has 23 days to go.
