Camolyn-brand eye drops are recalled

WASHINGTON, April 7 (UPI) -- The U.S. Food and Drug Administration announced the recall of over-the-counter Camolyn eye and Fisiolin nasal drops due to safety concerns.

The FDA said the US Oftalmi Corp. of Hallandale, Fla., initiated the voluntary recall because it cannot assure the sterility of the products, thereby giving them the potential of causing eye infections.
