Perdue-brand turkey sausage is recalled

WASHINGTON, March 22 (UPI) -- The U.S. Food Safety and Inspection Service says approximately 10,368 pounds of Perdue-brand turkey sausage is being recalled because of a labeling error.

The FSIS said Perdue Farms Inc. of Washington, Ind., initiated the voluntary recall of the "fresh sweet lean Italian turkey sausage" because it contains milk, a known potential allergen that was not declared on the label.
