NASA TV revises public information format

WASHINGTON, Dec. 17 (UPI) -- NASA says it has reformatted its online program schedule information to improve its readability.

NASA television officials said the space agency's public online program schedule is now easier to read, with listings for its public, education and media TV channels all listed on one Web page at http://www.nasa.gov/multimedia/nasatv/schedule.html.

The space agency also announced it plans to move its feeds of mission coverage, news conferences and other news and information delivered to cable and satellite service providers, broadcasters, educational and scientific institutions to satellite AMC 3. That switch will be effective Jan. 16.

NASA TV's occasional HD feed and Live Interactive Media Outlet Channel also will migrate to AMC3.
