WASHINGTON, July 16 (UPI) -- The U.S. Food and Drug Administration announced the voluntary nationwide recall of six male enhancement products marketed as dietary supplements.

The FDA said the products contain an active ingredient not approved for use in the supplements distributed by the Nature & Health Co.

The recalled supplement products were sold in California, Georgia, Illinois, Texas and Ohio under the names LibieXtreme, Y-4ever, Libimax X Liquid, Powermania liquid and capsules and Herbal Disiac.

"The undeclared ingredients may interact with nitrates found in some prescription drugs such as nitroglycerin and may lower blood pressure to dangerous levels," the FDA said.

The federal agency said people should stop using the products and contact their doctors if they experience any problems possibly related to the recalled supplements.

Consumers may return any unused products for a refund or contact the company at 714-671-0016.
