Stop & Shop recalls pina colada cookies

WASHINGTON, April 23 (UPI) -- The U.S. Food and Drug Administration says the Stop & Shop Supermarket Co. has recalled Simply Enjoy-brand pina colada cookies because of a labeling error.

The FDA said the "white chocolate gourmet cookies" contain pecans, an undeclared allergen that poses a health risk for people allergic to nuts.

The product has UPC 6 8826705538 and is sold in a 7 oz. package.
