Grilling sauce recalled for health hazard

WASHINGTON, April 13 (UPI) -- The U.S. Food and Drug Administration announced a nationwide recall of Olde Cape Cod-brand grilling sauce because of a health hazard.

The FDA said Olde Cap Cod Foods of Ayer, Maine, is voluntarily recalling the "Old Cape Cod Sweet & Bold Grilling Sauce" because it contains trace amounts of an undeclared seafood allergen -- anchovy. People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to seafood allergen run the risk of a serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume the product.
