WASHINGTON, Dec. 3 (UPI) -- The U.S. and Russian space agencies said they've signed a $141 million modification of their International Space Station contract, extending it into 2012.

The National Aeronautics and Space Administration and the Russian Federal Space Agency said the fixed-price crew transportation services contract extension covers comprehensive Soyuz support, including all necessary training and preparation for launch, crew rescue and landing of a long-duration mission for three station crew members.
