HOUSTON, Nov. 24 (UPI) -- The crew of space shuttle Endeavour will spend Thanksgiving with the crew of the International Space Station, NASA said Tuesday.
The shuttle mission to the ISS was extended by one day, and Endeavour will undock Friday, with landing Sunday at Kennedy Space Center's Shuttle Landing Facility, the U.S. space agency said on its Web site.
Astronauts Shane Kimbrough and Steve Bowen spent about 6 1/2 hours outside the space station, working on installing trundle-bearing assemblies, cleaning and lubricating a port, installing a camera and attaching a Global Positioning System antenna on the Japanese module section.
