Some Amy's-brand sandwiches recalled

WASHINGTON, Nov. 12 (UPI) -- The U.S. Food and Drug Administration announced the recall of Amy's-brand "Tofu Scramble in a Pocket" sandwiches because of a labeling error.

The FDA said Amy's Kitchen Inc. of Santa Rosa, Calif., initiated the voluntarily recall because of the presence of milk in the product that is labeled non-dairy.

The recall of the 4-ounce frozen sandwiches, which were sold nationwide, is limited to sandwiches with a code date of 10 H148 A,B,C or D that is printed on the package.

The federal agency said the recalled sandwiches could pose a health hazard if consumed by people allergic to milk.
