WASHINGTON, Oct. 3 (UPI) -- The U.S. Food and Drug Administration said Tristar Food of New Jersey is recalling bottles of Blue Cat Flavor Drink because it may contain melamine.

The 100 ml plastic bottles were distributed nationwide in Asian grocery stores.

The drink, also called Lanmao, comes in four flavors -- strawberry, sweet orange, pineapple and peach. All packaging has a logo of blue cat on the back of the bottle and the word "blue cat" in Chinese on the front.

The recall was initiated after FDA testing discovered that product was found to contain melamine.
