Canada recalls Baltic-brand bakery items

OTTAWA, Sept. 22 (UPI) -- The Canadian Food Inspection Agency is warning people allergic to eggs, milk or soy not to consume certain Baltic Bread bakery products.

The agency said Baltic Bread Products Ltd. of Hamilton, Ontario, reported its Babka European Style Coffee Cake might contain undeclared milk, its Best Apple Pie might contain both undeclared egg and milk, and its Danish Pastries might contain undeclared soy products.

The recalled Baltic bakery products, all with "Best Buy" dates up to and including Sept. 21, were distributed in Ontario.
