CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla., Aug. 28 (UPI) -- The U.S. space agency says it has postponed space shuttle Atlantis' scheduled move to its Kennedy Space Center launch pad.

The National Aeronautics and Space Administration said the roll out to Launch Pad 39A , originally scheduled for Saturday morning, will occur at 12:01 a.m. EDT next Tuesday. Officials said the postponement was necessary to accommodates additional work on the spacecraft.

NASA-TV will provide live video of Atlantis at the launch pad beginning at 6:30 a.m. Tuesday.

The Atlantis STS-125 11-day mission to the International Space Station will include five spacewalks. Atlantis will be commanded by Scott Altman, with Gregory Johnson serving as pilot. Astronauts will be John Grunsfeld, Mike Massimino, Megan McArthur, Andrew Feustel and Michael Good.
