OTTAWA, Aug. 4 (UPI) -- The Canadian Food Inspection Agency and the Continental Mushroom Corp. Ltd. announced the recall of some Continental- and Fresh Obsession-brand mushrooms.

The CFIA said the sliced mushroom products might be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes, posing a health hazard.

The recalled products are Continental Quickslice Triple Washed mushrooms with UPC 0 64798 00005 5, Fresh Obsessions Pre-Washed Sliced White Mushrooms with UPC 0 69200 00902 2 and Fresh Obsessions Sliced Crimini (Italian Brown) Mushrooms with UPC 0 69200 00502 4.

All three products, distributed in Ontario and Quebec, were sold in 227-grain packages that bear a lot code beginning with 200 to 214, inclusive.

The Fresh Obsessions products included in the recall were sold only at Loeb stores.
