NASA-TV to televise ISS cargo ship arrival

HOUSTON, May 7 (UPI) -- The U.S. space agency says it will televise the arrival of an unpiloted cargo spacecraft when it docks at the International Space Station.

National Aeronautics and Space Administration controllers in Houston said the Progress 29 Russian spacecraft carrying a shipment of food, fuel and supplies is to automatically dock with the ISS at 5:37 p.m. EDT, May 16.

NASA-TV coverage of the arrival will begin at 4 p.m. EDT that day with commentary and available downlink television.

The cargo ship, carrying more than 2 tons of supplies for the three space station crew members, is to be launched next Wednesday from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan. NASA-TV won't broadcast the launch.
