Two Hawaii schools tested in TB scare

HONOLULU, Feb. 19 (UPI) -- More than 100 Hawaiian students and faculty were tested for exposure to tuberculosis Tuesday.

The tests were ordered at Kahuku High School and Intermediate Schools after a teacher contracted the disease.

The Honolulu Advertiser said the state Department of Health compiled a list of students and staff members who had contact with the teacher.
