Dried sweet potatoes are recalled

WASHINGTON, July 12 (UPI) -- The U.S. Food and Drug Administration announced the recall of Sun Kee Brand Dried Sweet Potatoes because of undeclared sulfites.

Prosperity Resources International Inc. of Irvington, N.J., initiated the recall because of a health risk for people sensitive or allergic to sulfites.

The recalled product is packed in uncoded 12 oz. plastic packages and was sold along U.S. East Coast areas.
