OSLO, Norway, Nov. 9 (UPI) -- Mobile telephones are not linked to tumors but long-term caution is still recommended in their use, researchers say.
A Norwegian study for the World Health Organization also sought to calm fears about heat from the earphone of mobile phones, saying it was battery warmth and not radiation.

"This is good news for all mobile phone users," research fellow Lars Klæboe said.
The study said caution is warranted since new technology hampers determination of the full effects of long-term use, Aftenposten said.
The study was a joint venture of the Cancer Registry of Norway and the Norwegian Radiation Protection Authority.
