WASHINGTON, Aug. 1 (UPI) -- Former Sen. Bob Dole is launching a weekly Medicare drug plan podcast to educate beneficiaries and their caregivers about the 2007 enrollment process.
The podcast, "10 Things Seniors Need to Know about Medicare's Drug Coverage," can be found on Dole's Medicare campaign Web site, www.bobdoleonmedicare.com, as well as on iTunes and other podcast directories.
"With a little over three months until the start of the sign-up period, now is the time for seniors to learn about their options and decide if they want to enroll," Dole said in a release.
Dole said first year enrollment in the plan far surpassed the expectations of the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, with 38 out of 43 million eligible Medicare beneficiaries now receiving drug coverage.
