New theory addresses frozen Earth paradox
SAN FRANCISCO, July 10 (UPI) -- SanDisk is including Skype software in its newest portable Flash memory drives, enabling users to connect to Skype's calling services from any computer.
The device unveiled Monday means Skype users don't have to download software when they want to make Skype calls from a computer at an Internet café, library or some other remote location.
The SanDisk Cruzer Micro and Cruzer Titanium are both Skype-certified U3 platforms about the size of a pack of chewing gum and can carry a variety of applications.
"SanDisk sees the U3 platform as the next major step in mobile computing," said SanDisk's Carlos Gonzalez. "The Cruzer Micro and Cruzer Titanium with U3 will enable people to carry around, on a small, convenient USB flash drive, their complete personal desktop with all their favorite U3 smart applications, settings and contacts and allow them to work on any PC, wherever they go."
The devices range in size from 512 megabytes to 4 gigabytes and cost between $40 and $200.
