BOULDER, Colo., June 14 (UPI) -- Move over MySpace, there's yet another new social networking site in town.
Moxie Moms is offering moms an online social networking site called MommyBuzz.com.
The new site allows moms to connect online with other moms and share common interests. Features include sending or receiving messages and chat in real time, joining clubs or browsing member profiles, sharing personal photos, keeping a journal blog, reading expert blogs and posting classified ads, among other things.
The site is free for all moms in the United States, not just the some 1,700 Moxie Moms members, who work with locally owned retailers and service providers to serve moms and kids and build local communities, according to Moxie Moms.
"A community of moms, of women sharing an important phase of life, provides companionship, friendship, and advice for the basic activities of living a good life accompanied by a precious little one (or two or more)," said Moxie Moms Founder and President Susan Lavelle. "These activities include regaining a level of fitness lost to pregnancy, acquiring the tools & gear of child rearing, and having fun while being a mom."
