Two Vegas casinos to launch mobile gaming

LAS VEGAS, May 26 (UPI) -- The Venetian and Palazzo hotels will be the first Las Vegas casinos to offer wireless mobile gaming.

Las Vegas Sands Corp. announced Thursday that it had entered into a long-term agreement with Cantor Gaming that will make the unit of Cantor Fitzgerald the exclusive provider of the wireless service at its two properties.

Officials from both companies said they expected the service to appeal to guests and increase casino revenues.

Mobile gaming was authorized in Nevada last year with the passage of state legislation.
