CUPERTINO, Calif., April 24 (UPI) -- Apple Monday introduced its latest lightweight laptop, the 17-inch MacBook Pro, which weighs in at a slim 6.8 pounds.

The inch-thick computer is designed for business travelers and includes a built-in video-conferencing camera, Bluetooth capabilities and a 2.16 Gigahertz Intel Core Duo processor.

"The 17-inch MacBook Pro delivers the speed and screen area of a professional desktop system in the world's best notebook design," said Apple Marketing Vice President Philip Schiller.

Apple said the new machine contains many other bells and whistles that business road warriors require when making presentations and producing graphics and other documents.

MacBook Pro will hit the shelves at Apple retail outlets next week with a price tag of $2,800.
