SEOUL, March 3 (UPI) -- Hyundai Merchant Marine, one of the world's leading shipping lines, is deploying an AT&T VPN and VoIP system at 57 sites worldwide.

AT&T said in a news release Thursday that the four-year agreement will connect Hyundai sites in Asia, Europe and North America through Internet Protocol Virtual Private Networks and Voice over Internet Protocol telephony.

The Korean shipping company said the new arrangement would replace its current reliance on multiple service providers scattered around the world with a single point of contact. Hyundai also will see savings on its overall telecom bills through the VoIP service.
