NEW YORK, Dec. 13 (UPI) -- Sirius Satellite Radio said Tuesday it has expanded its broadcast arrangement with the National Basketball Association.
In addition to becoming an official marketing partner of the NBA, the latest deal will have Sirius broadcast more live games than any other radio outlet, the company said.
Sirius's NBA Radio will provide coverage and information on professional basketball 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
"The NBA draws an ever-larger audience of passionate fans from all across America and those fans will have access to more NBA basketball on Sirius than anywhere else on radio. This agreement is a significant enhancement to our superior sports lineup and underscores our ongoing commitment to bring the best sports programming to Sirius subscribers," Chief Executive Mel Karmazin said in a news release.
