New theory addresses frozen Earth paradox
ARLINGTON, Va., Nov. 22 (UPI) -- A former Army officer will head Raytheon's intelligence and information systems operations in Washington, the company said Tuesday.
The defense contractor said that retired U.S. Army Major General William Russ will be vice president of Washington operations for the intelligence and information systems business. Russ succeeds John Grimes, who was confirmed as the Defense Department's chief information officer.
Russ will take the lead in telecommunications policy, planning and technology programs in the Washington area, Raytheon said. Russ served as the commanding general of the Army Communications-Electronics Command in Fort Monmouth, N.J., and led worldwide lifecycle support for Army C4ISR (command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance) systems.
