NTT DoCoMo has phone with walkie-talkie

TOKYO, Oct. 19 (UPI) -- NTT DoCoMo Wednesday launched a new series of handsets that have walkie-talkie-like functions.

The 902i series is compatible with the Japanese mobile carrier's PushTalk walkie-talkie service, which can be used for simultaneous one-way communication from one 902i user to as many as four other 902i users.

The service will be expanded to up to 19 users by January, DoCoMo said.
