TOKYO, Sept. 29 (UPI) -- Japanese Internet-based advertising agency Cyberagent Thursday officially entered the Voice over Internet Protocol market.
The Tokyo-based company said its service is a result of a collaborative effort with PeerMe, a Mountain View, Calif.-based telecommunications group. Cyberagent will be investing an undisclosed sum in PeerMe, and the two companies will start up a VoIP phone service called Ameba PeerMe.
