Pakistan Telecom sold for $260M

KARACHI, Pakistan, Aug. 16 (UPI) -- The government of Pakistan has announced a foreign buyer paid $260 million for Pakistan Telecom.

State Bank Governor Ishrat Husain said Friday that the buyer's payment will be arranged through a syndicate of seven international banks, the Pakistan Times reported.
