Cisco debuts new wireless game

SAN JOSE, Calif., Aug. 16 (UPI) -- Cisco Systems announced Tuesday the availability of "Wireless Explorer," a new educational game designed to test networking knowledge.

The company said the game will test networking knowledge and wireless skills for technical professionals.

Players compete by ensuring friendly space aliens remain in wireless communication throughout their galactic voyages. Individual and team scores are based on successful site-survey strategies, deployment skills and network maintenance.

Wireless Explorer is one of six games now available at the CCNA Prep Center for users to sharpen network skills and match talents with other networking professionals. It is available to anyone with a Cisco.com login via the CCNA Prep Center, www.cisco.com/go/prepcenter.
