HOLLYWOOD, Aug. 4 (UPI) -- Cosmic Infinity has entered into a licensing agreement with Buena Vista Television for "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire" Mobile Games.

According to a joint release, starting Thursday Verizon Wireless customers with select Get It Now-enabled phones can take the Hot Seat and face a full onslaught of questions as they climb the ladder to the million-dollar question with the new "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire -- 2005" mobile game.

"Customers can hold the drama and excitement of the hit TV game show in the palms of their hands, answering mind-bending questions and using up to four lifelines to get to the million dollar question," the release said.

Cosmic Infinity Inc., a developer and publisher of mobile games, and Buena Vista Television, entered into a North American License Agreement for the creation and distribution of "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire"-branded mobile phone games that enable the exclusive development and distribution of mobile games involving the "Millionaire" brand across North America on mobile phone devices. Cosmic Infinity is developing a series of new games, the first of which is "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire -- 2005," featuring all-new official questions and the new "Switch the Question" lifeline, available exclusively on Verizon Wireless' Get It Now service. Michael Davies, executive producer of "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire," said: "'Millionaire' has always been on the cutting edge -- with technology rapidly changing and advancing, it is natural that we are developing these new mobile phone games with an innovative company like Cosmic Infinity. We see this as a natural distribution platform for what is, at its heart, a naturally interactive brand."
