Future galaxy collision predicted

MCKINNEY, Texas, July 26 (UPI) -- Defense contractor Raytheon launched Tuesday a radio system with Voice over Internet Protocol controllers for the U.S. Army.
The microlight radio equipment for the military's land warrior program will provide secure voice communications, position location, automatic reporting and navigation for dismounted team leaders, Raytheon said.
The company added that those in higher command levels will be equipped with a digital assistant "that gives leaders expanded situational awareness, tactical-level messaging, and fratricide avoidance."
