Infineon taps new investor-relations head

MUNICH, Germany, July 25 (UPI) -- Germany's Infineon Technologies appointed Monday a former Lehman Brothers analyst as the head of its investor relations division.

As of Oct. 1, 32-year-old Ulrich Pelzer will be with the German semiconductor manufacturer, having been senior analyst for semiconductors at the Wall Street investment bank.

Meanwhile, the company appointed Erk Thorsten as the head of corporate strategy. Thorsten is currently the head of Infineon's secure mobile solutions business group.
