WHITE PLAINS, N.Y., July 12 (UPI) -- Leading financial firms are expanding their use of instant-message services to chat forums that can accommodate thousands of users.
The Hub Connex Group of Communicator Inc. delivers chat services for the financial world, aimed at meeting the archiving and auditing requirements of investment banks.
"Hub Connex has allowed our services to grow exponentially," Jamie Lissette, managing director of The Hammerstone Group, an investment firm, said in a news release.
"Forums are an effective channel for our staff and clients to collaborate on topics including investment strategy and market color -- all within a easy-to-use application," Lissette added.
Hub Connex launched its forum application in 2001 and now hosts more than 5,000 different live discussions.
