Rogers, Bell Canada top customer lists

BOSTON, July 11 (UPI) -- Rogers, Bell Canada and TELUS topped the rankings of Canadian telecoms for customer respect for the second quarter of 2005.

The Customer Respect Group released its "Second Quarter 2005 Online Customer Respect Study" of the Canadian telecom industry Monday. Rogers and Bell Canada achieved an overall rating of "Good" for the second year in a row, while TELUS's performance significantly improved over the past year to receive the third "Good" mark.

Fido Solutions, Shaw Communications and Vonage Canada followed the top three respectively; Videotron was ranked No. 12 out of 12.

Companies were ranked in the categories of simplicity, responsiveness, privacy, attitude, transparency and principles.
