Smoking ban linked to fewer heart attacks

CHICAGO, April 1 (UPI) -- A six-month ban on smoking in public buildings in Helena, Mont., was paralleled by a 60 percent drop in heart attacks, doctors said Tuesday. The drop in heart attacks shows anti-smoking ordinances have wide-ranging public health benefits, they said.
