Doctors: Expensive new heart coil pays off

CHICAGO, March 30 (UPI) -- It is worth the added $2,000 to use drug-laced stents, tiny coils used to prop open clogged arteries, because the drugs prevent reclogging and repeat surgery. Researchers reported the finding Sunday at the annual meeting of the American College of Cardiology in Chicago.
