Girl has brain swelling after transplant

DURHAM, N.C., Feb. 21 (UPI) -- Duke University said early Friday the girl who received a second heart and lung transplant has developed life-threatening swelling and bleeding in the brain. Officials said 17-year old Jesica Santillan remains in critical condition and doctors continue to monitor and aggressively treat this complication.
